John Wichman

born in Buffalo, NY, on December 9, 1961, to Laurene (née Stotz) Wichman and Eugene Wichman, passed away suddenly on March 11 surrounded by his loved ones.

John was raised in Lackawanna, having graduated from St. Francis High School in 1979 and Buffalo State College in 1983. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora and the Jamison Road Fire Department. John owned Creative Concepts Studios, a multimedia production company, and was a renowned and respected videographer in Buffalo. His passion for making videos was matched only by his desire to help others. He had an artistic eye and always had a camera on his shoulder. He was quick-witted, always ready with a (bad) joke.

John had a love of music - listening, playing saxophone, and filming concerts. He lived an active lifestyle and enjoyed playing softball, hockey, snowshoeing, and skiing. John was a world traveler and loved exploring the natural and historic wonders of the world. And, of course, John was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Diane, his children, Tiffany and Casey, grandchildren Leo and Zev; brothers and sisters, Michael (Meda), Lori, Gary, and Lisa (Scott); in-laws, Valentine (Delores), Bill (Dawn), Rosemary (Perry), Marie (Frank); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
